I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in Midtown Manhattan. I work primarily with adults in individual psychotherapy. Along with my private practice, I serve as a Senior Psychologist at the NYU School of Medicine World Trade Center Health Program. My approach to treatment is integrative, utilizing skills from various schools of thought tailored to each individual's presenting concern. Specifically, I often employ an insight-oriented approach to help individuals develop awareness into their interpersonal patterns and internal conflicts. I also utilize cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based skills to help provide initial symptom relief and here-and-now awareness.
I have received advanced training in treating trauma survivors through my postdoctoral fellowship at New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital, with 9/11 first-responders.
I have obtained a considerable breadth and depth of psychotherapy experiences, having worked in a variety of settings across NYC. I have obtained specialized training in evidence based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders including STAIR, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
