Avigail Hurvitz-Prinz, LMSW, is a licensed psychotherapist with offices in Manhattan. She holds a Masters degree from Smith College School for Social Work where she was trained in psychodynamic, trauma-focused, and feminist approaches to clinical work with adults. Avigail has advanced training in relational psychotherapy and sex therapy. Much of her work involves the treatment of trauma, loss, grief, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. Avigail specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ community with a sensitivity to diverse cultures and religious backgrounds, especially people from formerly fundamentalist communities.
