Clinical Social Work/Therapist, PhD, LCSW
I received my MSW and PhD from New York University and my post-graduate training includes psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I combine these approaches based on each person's needs and goals for treatment.
Since 2004 I have been an Associate in Clinical Psychiatry at the Columbia Day Program where I developed the Columbia Eating Disorders Program and lead general psychotherapy and DBT groups.
My doctoral research focused on the transition to parenthood, mother-infant attachment and postpartum anxiety and depression.
