Elaine Baker

Dr. Elaine Baker is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in mental health assessment, medication management, and supportive therapy. Her approach is warm, empathetic, and collaborative.

Dr. Baker completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Hunter College as a Sigma Theta Tau graduate. Since 2010, she has provided psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health settings including inpatient and outpatient care, home care, residential care, and telemedicine.

Prior to expanding into private practice, Dr. Baker specialized in treating affective disorders at  Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division. She has previously served as an adjunct faculty instructor for graduate students at Columbia University.

Dr. Baker favors a holistic approach to mental health. She works collaboratively with clients to create a tailored plan of care that helps empower individuals to find sustainable relief from their symptoms to enjoy life more abundantly.
