Dr Elizabeth Albertini is a psychiatrist focusing on the interplay between the physical and psychological components of health. Dr Albertini has worked with patients with a broad array of psychiatric concerns. She has particular expertise in working with women during pregnancy and postpartum as well as consulting in pre-pregnancy planning. After a decade of experience, Dr Albertini is able to take each person’s medical and mental health history and help design a treatment plan that is targeted to their specific needs. She often works with doctors in numerous other specialties to care for the whole patient.
Dr Albertini has served as an attending at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital for over 4 years. She currently teaches residents and fellows as a voluntary faculty member. She actively participates in numerous psychiatric associations as well as publishing articles in multiple psychiatric journals.
