After graduating from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1978, I completed a Psychiatric Residency at MSH in 1982. After that, I did a fellowship in Medical Student Education in Psychiatry at Albert Einstein School of Medicine. In 1989, I completed psychoanalytic training at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. Currently, I teach and supervise at both Sinai and NYPSI and currently serve as the liaison to psychiatry residents requesting psychiatric evaluations for treatment. I have always been interested in the mental health of physicians and particularly enjoy treating medical students and physicians.
