Kira Boesch

I am a clinical psychologist in private practice in Brooklyn, New York. As a therapist I provide a safe and neutral space in which to explore, alongside my patients, the concerns which bring them into therapy. In addition to alleviating symptoms such as those related to depression and anxiety, I find that the therapeutic process almost invariably leads to greater self-understanding, increased agency in navigating life choices, and a favorable shift in the balance of positive and negative emotions.

My style is warm, empathic and direct. My insight-oriented approach is integrative and tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

I have broad experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan. I received my doctorate from the City University of New York and completed my predoctoral internship at Lenox Hill hospital. My prior experience in early childhood education brings a strong developmental perspective to my work with patients of all ages.
