Kristin Toffey, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her areas of specialty include anxiety and mood disorders, parenting support, and navigating life transitions with an approach that emphasizes the strengths and individual factors of each client. She offers individual and family therapy, diagnostic assessments, and consultation.

Dr. Toffey specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with exposure and response prevention (ERP) for anxiety and related disorders. She also has clinical training in comprehensive dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) for adolescents, developmentally-informed treatment for emerging adults, and family-based interventions for childhood emotional and behavioral issues. Using an evidence-based approach, she actively collaborates with clients to work through challenges by setting achievable goals and developing useful tools supported by research.

Dr. Toffey received a BA in psychology from Georgetown University and a PhD in clinical psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Mount Sinai St Luke’s. In addition to her private practice, she is a postdoctoral fellow at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center in White Plains, NY.
