I'm an integrative, analytic therapist who does both short-term (1-20 sessions) work with a tight focus and long-term work to address deeper issues. Some of the common issues I treat are addictive behaviors (substance/alcohol use issues and problematic sexual behaviors), anxiety/depression, life transitions, integration of psychedelic experiences, challenging work environments, intimacy issues and lack of meaning/purpose.

I'm trained psychoanalytically, particularly from a relational self psychological perspective with an emphasis on cultivating empathic dialogue, affective integration and "connectedness" where mutative shifts can occur. I'm also drawn to more experiential approaches like Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). Whatever clinical skillset I'm using, I believe it's vital to customize each treatment to the specific therapeutic needs of the client to provide the "optimal response".

My private practice is located 31st and 5th Avenue near the Herald Square train station, which also include the PATH. I look forward to connecting with others at WMHC.
