I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing on Upper East side of Manhattan.
I work in English and Polish individualy with adolescents and adults as well as with couples.
Drawing on my previous professional life as a dance movement therapist, I work with patients on the relationship between the mind and the body, and help them strengthen their awareness and experience of this connection. I have expertise working with patients impacted by trauma, emotion disregulation as well as body image and eating issues. I welcome into my practice patients struggling with self harm and other bodily experiences.
I also works with patients to explore and address the psychological underpinnings of psychosomatic disorders and issues related to chronic pain.
I graduated with PhD in clinical psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, I also hold a master's degree in dance/movement therapy from Pratt Institute. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at the World Trade Center Health Program at Mount Sinai. I also completed additional postgraduate training at The Women's Therapy Center Institute, which focused on contemporary relational theory and feminist thought. Prior to finding my home at Mount Sinai Hospital, I completed my predoctoral internship at Manhattan Psychiatric Center.
