Sarah McArdell Moore, Ph.D. is expert in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders using patient-centered evidence-based practices. She has extensive experience treating children, adolescents and adults with complex social and behavioral health needs including those struggling with co-morbid medical and mental health diagnoses.

Dr. Moore received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and completed a full-time APA accredited clinical internship at the Jewish Child Care Agency Foster Home Services in Brooklyn. During her tenure at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Moore worked with the Waisman Center for Healthy Minds, the Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies, and the University of Wisconsin Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.  She provided training in culturally competent medical and mental health care practices and health literacy to undergraduates as well as graduate students at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

A former teacher and administrator in Chicago’s alternative public school system, Dr. Moore holds a dual Master’s degree in Education with specializations in Youth Development and Curriculum and Instruction. She provides training on evidence-based approaches to mental health treatment and cultural competency for professional audiences, as well as workshops for parents, schools and community associations on topics such as managing stress, school refusal and healthy sexual development.

Dr. Moore is an active member in the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology.
