As psychotherapist specializing in individual, couple and family therapy, I maintain private practice offices in Manhattan, and Huntington, NY.

As graduate of Hofstra University specializing in marriage and family therapy, Yale University specializing in public health, and Iasi School of Medicine, with a degree in general medicine I have more than twenty years of healthcare experience. I am currently working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are complex trauma psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral psychotherapy (DBT), couple and family therapy, and mindfulness based therapeutic interventions.

My research and clinical works have been presented in national and international conferences, on topics including genetics of depression and bipolar disorder, geriatric psychiatry, family therapy and DBT. I have numerous publications in peer reviewed medical and psychiatric journals.

I am interactive and empathic as therapist, providing support and practical feedback, helping clients effectively address personal life challenges, or psychopathology needs. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each person, couple or family. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual and family to help build on strengths and attain the growth each person is committed to accomplish.
