I am a doctor of clinical social work with nearly two decades of experience treating individuals, couples, and families in the areas of cancer, chronic illness, trauma, grief, and loss. I practice from a strengths-based approach centered on meaning, purpose, and the impact of trauma and suffering on our lives.

As a clinical social worker, my goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space for therapy. I maintain a relational approach with a focus on meaning while uncovering and understanding your story. In my many years of experience in oncology care in a healthcare setting, my work has afforded me the opportunity to support individuals, couples, families, and loved ones through life threatening or life-limiting illness, trauma, grief, loss, existential distress, and the search for meaning in the face of adversity. In life, there is suffering for us all in different ways and we can perhaps find meaning in the pain, purpose in the loss, and comfort through the journey. My clinical focus areas are depression, anxiety, cancer and chronic illness, trauma, relational issues, grief, and loss.

As a first generation Greek-American, I have a strong committment to family, community, and empathy and compassion for the betterment of those around me. Clinical therapy is personal; I hope to be a partner in your journey in uncovering why therapy is right for you at this moment in time.
