In my psychotherapy practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) & Mindfulness to treat issues such as depression, anxiety, self-sabotaging and suicidal behaviors.
CBT and DBT are a highly effective, research-based style of talk therapy that emphasizes the role of cognition and action in mental health. During our sessions, I will actively listen to your concerns, and teach you skills that will help you cope with your stress, meet your goals, improve your relationships, and lead a happier life.
I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, and serve as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Mount Sinai Hospital. I also provide clinical services to the New York Times and maintain a blog on Psychology Today.
