I am a licensed psychotherapist with a lifelong passion for yoga and mindfulness practices. I believe deeply that everyone is capable of achieving emotional well-being and overcoming their challenges. Through my professional experience, trainings, and clinical research I have found that integrating mind-body and spiritual practices into psychotherapy provides greater insight and deeper healing than talk therapy alone.
I use an individualized combination of traditional talk therapies, embodied therapies such as body awareness and therapeutic yoga, and spiritual practices such as mindfulness and self-compassion to help clients create a deeper connection to their authentic selves and develop tools to overcome obstacles to whole being wellness.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression and identity questions, and trauma - particularly sexual assault survivors and adult survivors of childhood abuse. As a therapist I am warm and nonjudgmental and my practice is sex-positive and LGBTQA+ and poly friendly.
