Lunchtime Webinar – Integrating Family Systems Couple and Sex Therapy Lenses in Couples Therapy

Hi Colleagues,

As an Ackerman alum who fell in love with Systems work even before going to grad school when studying at the Minuchin Institute, it has been extremely important for me to retain the theories, techniques and lenses when working with couples who present with sexual issues.

While utilizing a formal sex therapy assessment, I also integrate genograms, circular questioning and discussions of individuation to name a few. I create and revise and refine hypotheses of a couple's dynamic and how it reflects in their sexual challenge.

This is the reason I created this webinar: Integrating Family Systems and Sex Therapy Lenses in Couples Therapy.

I hope you'll join me in this 3 part Lunchtime Live Webinar Series Mondays Feb. 27, March 6th and March 13th from 12:30-2 PM EST.

Watch and read more details about this webinar at www.saricooper.com/webinars/

and register online to reserve your "seat".

This webinar is approved by NYS for LMSW/LCSWs and AASECT for 4.5 Continuing Education Hours/Credits.

For many couples therapists, sexuality can be a tough topic to address. My workshop/webinar participants and supervisees have let me know they feel so empowered after taking one of my workshops and webinars and freed to ask those questions that can at times be awkward for them.

I hope you share this announcement with colleagues on other listservs or agencies. For further info, please email webinars@saricooper.com

And don't forget the live webinar COMING UP THIS MONDAY FEB. 6TH FROM 12:30-2:30 PM EST:

The Collaborative Clinical Care Model Between Therapists and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists co presented with Amy Stein, DPT, a Pelvic floor physical therapist who will review what conditions she treats, and myself on how to systemically collaborate with a women experiencing sexual pain, her partner and the professionals working on the case. Systems involved here as well. Check out the intro video at www.saricooper.com/webinars/ See you there!

Best,
