Pia Wallgren

Meredith Carlisle

Meredith Carlisle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with adults, children, couples, and families across a variety of settings. With a particular interest in life-transitions, Meredith specializes in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Using an integrated, trauma-informed approach, she draws heavily from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance based models to support clients with practical skill building to address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotion dysregulation, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts.

Linda Turner

Art Psychotherapist in Union Sq, NYC, with 20+ years experience working with adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem; have a particular focus on relationships/attachment struggles; also work with individuals on life and career transitions, as well as blocks to creativity. Trained in IFS, AF-EMDR, AEDP, ISP, and coaching through CTI. Additionally, I create/facilitate arts based workshops, and am a practicing visual artist.

Sarah Davis

I am a psychotherapist based in Manhattan and licensed in the states of NY, NJ, PA, FL, and TX.  My primary focus throughout my career has been on the treatment of eating disorders, body image issues, and trauma. I am a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and Approved Supervisor/Consultant (CEDS-C) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a trained EMDR therapist. Prior to private practice, I have served in a variety of roles ranging from primary therapist to clinical director at various levels of care including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.

I wholeheartedly believe that client's are the expert of their own lives. My aim is to help them create the necessary changes while providing safety and connection in a collaborative relationship. I believe the most important aspect of therapy lies within the therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care to promote an environment of safety, empowerment and healing. I practice utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapist (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) working in a strength-based and relational style. I also trained in Embodied Recovery for Eating Disorders (EDRD) through the Embodied Recovery Institute.

Suparna Basu

Originally from Delhi, India, Dr. Basu completed her medical training in Nepal before relocating to the United States for a psychiatric residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital. She started the outpatient psychiatric department at Baylor University in Irving, TX, and taught psychiatry to medical students at Texas A&M before moving into private practice.

Dr. Basu believes that building human connection is a critical aspect of practicing successful evidence-based medicine. She sees mental health as more than just the presence of specific symptoms, a diagnosis, or the medication her patients may decide to take. She gives clients the time, space, and non-judgmental attention they need during periods of crisis and enjoys collaborating with fellow clinicians, especially therapists, who she sees as an invaluable part of treatment.

Melissa Coffin

Dr. Melissa McLain Coffin is a licensed psychologist in Connecticut and New York and a certified eating disorder specialist supervisor (CEDS-S) with over fifteen years of experience providing psychological services to adults and adolescents. She uses both evidenced-based treatment as well as genuine connection to provide the best possible treatment.
Dr. Coffin works with a variety of presenting concerns including life transitions, depression, anxiety and trauma. In addition, she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders.

I’m currently an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Montefiore Hospital, with specialized experience in perinatal mental health.

Judith Brisman

Psychologist, PhD

Dr. Judith Brisman was the Founding Director of the Eating Disorder Resource Center for over 35 years. She is co-author of Surviving an Eating Disorder: Strategies for Family and Friends, is an associate editor of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and is on the editorial board of the journal Eating Disorders. She is a member of the teaching faculty of the William Alanson White Institute and she maintains a private practice in New York City.
Dr. Brisman is known internationally as among the first in her field to develop a treatment program for bulimic patients. She has published and lectured extensively regarding the interpersonal treatment of eating disorders.

Ryan Selzer

Eilon Shomron-Atar

I am a clinical psychologist in private practice. I have been practicing psychoanalytic psychotherapy for the past two decades in Israel, in New York, and most recently in Maine. In my academic and clinical pursuits I have explored paths feminist studies, queer studies, and cultural studies as they inform my understnading of society and the people we help. I practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy as well as schizoanalytic psychotherapy, a cross-cultural modality of therapy I have been developing through the interdisciplinary weaving of the clinical and the socio-political. Currently, I teach at John Jay College, supervise at NIP and Adelphi, and am in private practice.
