Maggie Bennett

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW

I specialize in working with those who appear “okay” on the outside, but inside they’re overthinking, second-guessing, or bending themselves to keep others happy. Those who want to say no more often, strengthen their relationships, feel more confident, quiet their inner critics, or feel more at ease with their bodies. I provide virtual sessions for those in NY, CT, and NJ.

With compassion and curiosity I help people explore untangle patterns that are no longer serving them. My approach is drawn from evidence-based therapeutic modalities -- I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to best serve the unique needs of each person.

I do my best to bring my authentic self to session which means therapy with me is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative – with a touch of humor! I am passionate about my work as a therapist and I am deeply committed to helping people make positive changes in their lives.

If you’re ready to make lasting changes in your life, I encourage you to reach out. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to get comfortable, ask questions, and see if we could be a good fit.
