Gina Sissoko

Psychologist

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist offering therapy and psychological assessments in New York and Virginia. You’ve accomplished a lot, but lately you feel anxious, drained, or disconnected from yourself. You may carry invisible burdens or the pressure to always be “strong.” You want to feel grounded, confident, and at peace in your body, your relationships, and decisions. My clients are often ambitious women, including Black women, women of color, or immigrants who are ready to heal and grow on their own terms.

In therapy, I provide culturally affirming, trauma-informed care grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT, mindfulness, and relational work. Our sessions are a space to slow down, make sense of what’s weighing on you, and build practical tools for clarity, boundaries, and emotional balance.

I also offer specialized psychological assessments, including ADHD evaluations and forensic immigration evaluations. My assessment work is thorough, ethical, and carefully documented, with attention to both clinical accuracy and your lived experience.

Therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with yourself, I’d be honored to work with you.
