Hello. I am a LCSW practicing in NYC and CT. I am trained as an adult psychoanalyst (NIP), a child and adolescent psychotherapist through stints at NIP's Child and Adolescent Program and IPTAR, as an infant and parent psychotherapist (PIP-Columbia) and the Jewish Board (Relationships for Growth and Learning.) I was formerly in academia as a professor of Marketing and taught at the University of Michigan and other institutions. I am interested in integrating all relevant fields into my practice, as I find humans way too complicated to be approached in a single manner.

I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in treating mood disorders, PTSD and the concerns of older adults. My practice combines psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

Dr. Heidi Cox is a licensed clinical psychologist and Director of The Centered Space Psychology Group. Her private practice treats perinatal mental health, anxiety, and relationship issues from a holistic, integrative lens. She supports patients through life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and creative blocks. Heidi sees adults aged 18+, from emerging adulthood and college students up to older adults. Lea Schupak, LMHC, PMH-C is licensed child & adult psychotherapist available for sessions both via telehealth and in-person in her office in the NoMad area, Manhattan.

While Lea sees patients for a wide range of issues including depression and anxiety, her practice has a particular focus on women's mental health in the prenatal / postpartum period,  grief and loss, as well as relationship / couples issues and family dynamics. Lea also works with many new fathers adjusting to parenthood, and is certified by Postpartum Support International as a Perinatal Mental Health practitioner.

Having lived in four different countries, Lea is also familiar with the unique challenges faced by international / bicultural individuals and expat families adjusting to life in New York. She is bilingual and can conduct sessions in French for the francophone community in New York.
