If you or your child are interested in gaining support through therapy, I’m here to help. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, mood, adjustment, and behavioral challenges, and parent coaching/skills training for caregivers. I am also passionate about working with individuals of all ages who are managing chronic illnesses or health-related concerns, such as health anxiety.
I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and draw from other research-supported therapies in my work. This means that in addition to providing a warm and supportive space for you to express difficult emotions and talk about your concerns, I will provide practical, evidence-based tools and strategies that will offer you short-term relief and equip you for lasting change. I hope to ultimately empower you with the skills, confidence, and self-compassion needed to manage challenges independently, ensuring that the progress we make together endures well beyond our sessions.
When I am working with your child, some or all of our work may necessitate your involvement. As a parent or guardian, you are uniquely positioned to support your child by providing critical reinforcement of therapeutic skills at home. However, there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to treatment, so you and I will collaborate to identify the appropriate balance of child and parent involvement given your particular circumstances and goals.
