I've been in private practice since 2003. I guide people beyond their immediate struggles by helping them understand themselves better and by tapping into their natural abilities to help themselves overcome challenges. My insight-oriented approach helps clients get to the root of what is troubling them and relieves their symptoms.
Working deeply with my clients' feelings to help their authentic selves emerge, we examine repetitive negative patterns in the context of personal history and experience. This relieves stress and results in helping people make more effective decisions and healthier choices.
I specialize in helping people adjust to significant life modifications, such as medical changes, relationship changes, and employment changes. I also focus on anxiety and depressive disorders. I work with couples, families, adolescents (14-19), individuals and small groups.
