I am a psychotherapist in downtown Manhattan, seeing clients both in person and remotely. Clients that I work with include those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and issues related to parenting, maternal mental health, life transitions, career challenges, family dynamics and stressors around school and college.
I use a pragmatic approach to understand and tackle the issues we all face in a warm, cooperative environment. I support my clients in sharing their ideas and deepest emotions while working together to problem solve within a secure and unbiased space. As we are all unique individuals, I believe in a person-centered, humanisitic philosophy, working differently with each client, respecting and celebrating each person's life, their feelings and finding our way together to understand and make changes in a way that is comfortable for them. My training is in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which I use with a cognitive behavioral approach.
