Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Heather DeAngelis, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP, is a psychotherapist, ADHD specialist, speaker, and founder of adhdALIGNED. With more than 25 years of experience in mental health, she specializes in working with adults with ADHD and AuDHD, particularly women who were diagnosed later in life, missed altogether, or spent years being treated for anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or emotional dysregulation without fully understanding what was underneath.
Heather’s work combines evidence-based psychotherapy with practical executive-function strategies because insight alone is not always enough. She helps clients better understand their brains while developing concrete ways to manage initiation, organization, emotional regulation, relationships, and the demands of everyday life.
Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, direct, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that effective therapy should help people not only understand themselves differently, but function differently in the lives they actually live.
