I work with adolescents and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and self-esteem. I have extensive training in psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy for eating disorders, as well as health at every size (HAES). I work collaboratively with other committed providers (i.e., primary medical doctors, psychiatrists, and nutritionists ), to ensure my clients receive the most comprehensive and effective care possible.
Outside of my practice, I am the Director of Adult Externship at Maimonides Medical center. I supervise medical residents and psychology trainees in their clinical work. I have lectured on the topic of eating disorders and body image in multiple settings; both for other health professionals and in private schools throughout NYC.
I earned my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from William James College in Boston, and completed my APA internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at a private practice where I recieved extensive training in eating disorders.
