Alea works with couples and individuals looking to build and maintain a relationship that is stronger, more resilient, and ultimately more satisfying than the fairy tales we were promised as children. Through her extensive work with individuals and couples, she developed the desire to create a space built on the values of authenticity, compassion, realism, and honesty. Her work through the Gottman Level Three training has given her a strong foundation upon which she bases her approach to helping couples find sustainable results as they work on their relationship. Additionally, through her work with at-risk youth, adolescents finding their passions in life, adults navigating midlife fears, and the geriatric population, Alea has amassed a variety of experiences preparing her to support her clients through any issues they may face as they work toward success.

Alea believes in the power of genuine human connection. She encourages clients to lean away from self-criticism and into curiosity and empathy for themselves and their partners. As a new mother, she understands the value of caring for ourselves so we can care for others, as well as the importance of taking care of the inner child. Through this lens, Alea supports her clients, both in individual or couples therapy, in their work to cultivate the life they desire.
