My practice centers on creating a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, strengths, and desires in order to move towards healing. I work to help clients navigate harder to articulate feelings like shame and guilt to make space for self-compassion, self-knowledge, acceptance and growth.

My approach is holistic, integrated and strengths-based, drawing from psychodynamic, relational and somatic principals as well as goal-oriented behavioral interventions. I approach my sessions with a humanistic, interpersonal lens as we work to explore internal and external experiences. We will identify any barriers or unhelpful patterns of thoughts and behaviors, and utilize strategies and tools to help disrupt unhealthy cycles.

With experience in private practice, community based mental health clinics, residential treatment centers, crisis shelters and New York City public schools, I have had the opportunity to work with and support individuals of different ages, identities and backgrounds. I am passionate about working with, and have grown my practice with a focus on adolescents, individuals and families. I am particularly passionate about working with survivors of trauma and individuals exploring their identity.

I believe in the power of authentic human connection and I employ a warm, direct and solution-focused approach with clients. My time with clients will focus on developing a deep understanding of who they are and what they want to explore in an environment that will help them engage in their work meaningfully and vulnerably. Clients should expect a direct approach with compassion, humor, curiosity and authenticity.
