I’ve been in private practice over 30 years, working with adults individually and w/ couples. My style is warm, empathic, and collaborative. I strive to create a non-judgmental & safe environment where you can gain a greater understanding of yourself . Self awareness leads to self acceptance and of course, self love.

Addressing obstacles and understanding your family of origin story is so very important to understand so that emotional obstacles are minimized and emotional freedom is maximized. Feeling and showing up as your very best and having greater emotional freedom and flexibility is one of the goals of therapy. To make you aware of what is behind your decision making is liberating. And it is a collabrative effort and relationship.

My approach is electic. My training in psychoanalysis provides a framework for understanding behaviors, but also with an emphasis on the here/now. I believe that a good therapeutic fit using different modalities can be transformative.
