Psychologist
Dr. Alina Gorgorian is a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University in New York City. Her clinical training includes a doctoral externship at Bellevue Hospital, an APA-accredited internship at the VA, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center.
With a diverse clinical background, Dr. Gorgorian has worked with college students, veterans, and children on the autism spectrum in both private practice and community mental health settings. She spent nine years as Executive Clinical Director at Clearview Treatment Programs, overseeing two residential programs, as well as a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). In that role, she led multidisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and support staff. She has also taught graduate-level psychology courses and delivered trainings and workshops in evidence-based therapy to professionals across the U.S. and internationally.
Dr. Gorgorian is licensed in California and New York. She offers both telehealth and in-person sessions from her Pasadena office, working with adults facing depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and relationship challenges. She also provides couples therapy, using integrative behavioral approaches to foster stronger connection and communication.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Gorgorian specializes in executive coaching and organizational consulting. She partners with leaders and teams in various industries to enhance leadership effectiveness, improve executive team dynamics, and develop company-wide service culture initiatives. Her approach integrates psychological insight with practical strategy, helping individuals and organizations achieve lasting growth and transformation.
