I am passionate about working with adolescents, adults, and their families/support systems. I have particular specialties using research-based practices to work with individuals struggling with Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. In addition to those specialties, I support clients through a wide range of challenges including, depression, stress management, relationship concerns, developing confidence and self-compassion, life transitions, and career and academic stress. My approach to treatment is rooted in my passion for evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) — all of which use behavioral, emotion-focused, and cognitive methods.

I place a strong emphasis on accepting the uncomfortable and uncontrollable parts of life and focus on taking the power back from difficult internal experiences by achieving a sense of confidence in your ability to cope. This means ditching the self-critical thought processes that maintain uncomfortable feelings and replacing them with self-compassion.
