I am a psychotherapist with a virtual private practice based in Manhattan. My focus is on adults with interpersonal and/or developmental ruptures, including attachment trauma and hiccups later in life. I work psychodynamically, relationally, and integrate mindfulness and CBT when appropriate.
I have received extensive training in relational psychoanalytic psychotherapy and in trauma based psychotherapy, and use these together to create an informed and safe space for my clients. My emphasis is on the therapeutic relationship in the room, and on exploration of the client's past and present. I've found that curiosity about the humanness that is only natural leads to self empathy, diminished anxiety and depression, and a connection with one's sense of self.
