While I have over 22 years of experience working with children and adults with a wide spectrum of mental health and life adjustment issues, I specialize in issues relating to couples and families including pre-partnership/marital counseling, infertility, pre-and post-partum mental health, adoption home studies/post-adoptive family therapy, attachment challenges, and ending relationships in a mindful and more productive manner (especially when there is concern about children). My focus expanded to women empowerment during the pandemic when Asian women who were traumatized by the anti-Asian backlash desperately reached out to me for help.

I am here to welcome you and your families to my practice. My experience started in inpatient child psych and moved to outpatient adult mental health. I have worked with kidney transplant (pre-and post-op) clients and their families as well as within the higher education system with graduate students juggling work, school, and life.

I utilize a person-centered and trauma-focused approach where I design individual and wholistic treatment plans which can include short-term treatment modalities (such as solution-focused, CBT, or DBT), but I also have extensive experience with psychodynamic models including IFS and attachment-based work.
