Psychoanalyst, LP
I am a New York state-licensed psychoanalyst who works with individuals and couples. Together we will identify and explore core issues, patterns, and behaviors that are preventing you from leading a more satisfying and successful life. My approach to therapy is primarily psychodynamic, and together we will explore your core issues and behaviors that are preventing you from leading a more fulfilling and successful life. This depth of work allows for greater self understanding and more control over the choices you make in your life so that you can achieve meaningful and lasting change.
I provide psychotherapy and psychoanalysis and have helped individuals struggling with a range of issues, including: depression, stress and anxiety, relationship and intimacy issues, family and career challenges, self-esteem, sleep difficulties, loss and grief, illness, substance abuse, eating disorders and body image, and many forms of trauma.
I believe that a successful treatment relies on collaboration, connection, and trust. I strive to create a supportive and safe environment where people feel free to talk about difficult feelings and thoughts, and I will tailor sessions to meet individual needs. I offer consultations to determine if we are a good fit. Email me at abigail.walch@gmail.com or call (917)-373-8706.
