I help people who are struggling with life transitions, relationship and intimacy issues, and questions about identity. I have specialized expertise in helping women and men address the after-effects of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder, depersonalization and dissociation. My approach is experiential, present-centered and focused on helping people develop the capacity and courage to live more full and meaningful lives.

I received my graduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and completed my postdoctoral research fellowship in the Post Traumatic Stress Disorders Research Program at NYU School of Medicine. My clinical work in the VA setting and city hospital setting has equipped me to treat a range of clinical presentations.

I am currently on the faculty at NYU School of Medicine where I teach psychology interns, and I have a private practice close to Penn Station.
