Dr. Edwards practices cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance based treatments and schema therapy to help patients break free of repetitive patterns and lead more fulfilling lives. Specifically specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder and related disorders, and trauma related disorders.
She serves as a board member and secretary of the New York Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Association. She completed her education at Temple University (Ph.D.) and Duke University (B.A.) and completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Edwards continues to teach and supervise at Weill Cornell Medical College and has been involved in various treatment outcome trials as a therapist and a researcher, publishing work in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national conferences.
