Ann R. Cohen, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with an independent practice, treating children, adolescents and adults in New York City. She is a graduate of Cornell University, with honors in Human Development and Family Studies. After receiving her doctorate in psychology from Hofstra University, she completed a two year postdoctoral fellowship with Albert Ellis, specializing in cognitive behavior therapy. Dr. Cohen has been on the faculty of St. John's University, teaching and supervising doctoral students learning CBT, and she has been the leader of the Women's Support Group at the Queens Cancer Center. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Cohen is an Albert Ellis Institute approved supervisor in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
