I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience treating clients experiencing anxiety issues in all its presentations including depression, perfectionism, avoidance, eating disorders, obsessive/compulsive behaviors and self esteem issues. I help clients manage difficult and big emotions, and help navigate new or sudden changes, with special focus on those in both Millennial and Gen z populations.

My process begins by learning about client’s current experiences and then working together to explore, trace and investigate symptoms, feelings and thoughts to assist in growth and healing. I blend traditional therapy practices, such as talk therapy including psychoanalysis, with newer techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure/response prevention (ERP) therapy to help clients create a life of structure and balance. I also help clients identify how systems of family, culture, and socioeconomics impact identity and wellbeing. Throughout the therapy process we will collaboratively discover underlying causes of what led you to therapy, provide and discuss feedback and work to ensure your results are sustainable and that my approach meets your needs.

I was raised in the Washington D.C. suburbs and have lived in New York City for 16 years. I received an undergraduate degree from School of Visual Arts and a graduate degree from Fordham University’s School of Social Work. I am a current member of the William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Institute where I am engaged in their Eating Disorder/Compulsion and Addiction Program as well as their group supervision.
