I am a NYS Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy, neuropsychological evaluations, and critical case consultations for healthcare professionals.

My primary approach to treatment is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy because I believe this creates long-lasting and meaningful change. This often takes the form of a deep dive exploration into one’s past experiences, relationships, and coping patterns. I journey with my clients to explore their internal world and hidden anxieties, wounds, or experiences that are causing them discomfort, pain, or feelings of “stuckness.” I am also integrative and flexible, and work collaboratively to cocreate a therapy experience unique to each client. To that end, I incorporate techniques from other empirically validated treatments, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapies to provide further insight and relief. Above all, I am committed to bringing empathy, openness, and honesty to the therapy space to foster growth and positive change.

Over the course of my career, I have developed specializations in working with clients with acute and chronic health conditions and pain. Equally, I have expertise in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, learning difficulties that impact performance, peer, professional, and romantic relationships, family conflict and individuation, life transitions, and the prenatal and postpartum periods, infertility, and pathways to parenthood.

At the core of therapy, I firmly believe that the relationship between therapist and client is essential in helping one facilitate growth, recovery, and healing. This partnership requires mutual trust and communication, and I strive to cultivate a space where clients feel safe, seen, heard, and held.
