As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience, I've dedicated my career to empowering individuals and families to overcome life's challenges. My expertise in community mental health and academia has allowed me to develop a compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic approach.

Combining traditional techniques like CBT, CPT, ACT, and Prolonged Exposure with a focus on fostering connection and personal growth, I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and relationship issues. As a bilingual Latina therapist, I offer a culturally sensitive and empathetic space for clients to explore their experiences. I hold a BSW from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master's degree from Boston College, and I am licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts. Additionally, I am a certified grief counselor and certified in Horticultural Therapy.

I'm particularly passionate about supporting childless women through my coaching support group, Healing Roots Together. This program utilizes Therapeutic Horticulture activities, which involve using plants and gardening to promote well-being, to explore the parallels between the plant life cycle and the human life cycle. The goal is to connect women who feel isolated due to their inability to become mothers, providing them with community, tangible gardening skills, and the language needed to understand their disenfranchised grief.

My commitment to helping others stems from personal experience and a deep understanding of the importance of emotional support. Raised in a matriarchal, immigrant family, I've witnessed firsthand the power of resilience and the strength of human connection. My approach to therapy is warm, nonjudgmental, and direct, creating a safe space for clients to heal and grow.
