I help Millennials build their confidence during big life changes so they can feel in control of their lives again.
I specialize in Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma-focused individual therapy and facilitate weekly therapy processing groups for Black women.
I’ve worked as a psychotherapist for over 10 years, working with individuals and their families in New York and New Jersey. My approach to therapy involves an introspective conversation where clients are encouraged to explore the root cause of their thoughts and feelings. I believe in a person’s ability to restore their sense of self through insight, honesty, empowerment, and the desire to live as their authentic selves.
I’m interested in getting to know the “whole” person; how they think and feel about how they move in the world - a truly holistic approach to treatment.
My clients often realize their anxiety is rooted in the past. And I truly believe the past can be a tool to help figure out the future.
