I specialize in working with individuals and couples who struggle connecting with themselves or each other. Many of my clients have difficulty navigating life transitions, perfectionism, people-pleasing, harsh self-criticisms, fears of failure or losing control, or feeling empty or broken inside. You might be great at intellectualizing, have wonderful insights about yourself, but still feel stuck or powerless in making changes. You might struggle to connect with your feelings and needs, walking through life feeling like something is missing, or feeling resentful of how others take up more space in the world than you do. You might feel stuck within your relationship, like you're going through the motions, but no longer feel connected; or unsure how to get your needs met. Whatever the pattern, I work to help you move past the storytelling and intellectualizing and toward the underlying implicit knowings that keep you stuck in certain behaviors and patterns.

My work is highly experiential, meaning we will work actively within the therapy space to access parts of your internal experience that you don't typically look at. I support you in going deeper to understand how the emotional truths that implicitly guide the way you experience the world may be keeping you stuck. I help you connect more intimately with yourself and support you in developing new skills and strategies that help you navigate life more meaningfully. Together, we will notice patterns in the way you think, feel, and engage in the world; explore the unspoken “rules” or “truths” you hold about yourself and others; face with gentleness, compassion, and honesty all the different parts of yourself; identify your values and dreams; and explore how to infuse life with intention and meaning. In our work, I draw heavily on the latest neuroscience to support transformational shifts within you.

It is only when you feel free enough to look at and share all the different parts of you that true healing can begin and it’s my job to create a space where you feel both safe and brave enough to do so. I’m looking forward to learning more about you and how we can work through your concerns together.
