My trauma-informed therapeutic approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and compassionate, integrating talk-therapy, Contemplative Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and other evidence-based approaches in treatment of adults and elders.

My background in the international corporate sector and clinic settings gives me special insight into career issues, and the sensitivity to work with people from diverse backgrounds. I employ an interactive style to work with adult individuals who are experiencing challenges such as trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, problematic relationship patterns, and life-transitions.

Post-graduate training includes certification by EMDRIA- in EMDR; graduate of the EMDR Clinical Affiliate Program / National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP) Trauma Treatment Center; Certification / The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy (IMP) in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy; Certification/ Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute (TICTI)In Flash technique; and certification in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Mindfulness / Nalanda Institute of Contemplative Science.

I hold a Masters' Degree in Mental Health Counseling, and Advanced Certification in Trauma and Disaster Mental Health from the Institute for Disaster Mental Health (IDMH) at SUNY New Paltz.
