I am a NYC based therapist working with young adults and adults who feel stuck in perfectionism, people-pleasing, or complicated interpersonal and family dynamics.
I am a curious and conversational therapist who likes to really understand people: the details, the dynamics, and how it all connects back to your life and relationships. I’m not afraid to ask the deeper questions, and I genuinely want to know your story. Clients often describe me as warm, funny, and honest. I bring a natural, down-to-earth style to therapy that makes our work feel less clinical and more like a real conversation.
Together in therapy, we’ll explore how certain thought patterns have formed across your life’s experiences, and how to shift them. I bring warmth, directness, and a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT to help you build skills and manage these feelings.
Our work will be collaborative and tailored to you. We’ll look at the root of what’s keeping you stuck, while also building concrete skills you can use day to day. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more in charge of your choices, and more connected, to yourself and others.
I strive to create a therapeutic environment where all aspects of your identity are seen, valued, and respected. My approach is affirming and inclusive of people of all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, and backgrounds. I recognize that each person’s experiences are shaped by intersecting identities and social contexts, and I work to honor those complexities in the therapeutic process.
