I've been practicing individual , couple, and family therapy for thirty years using primarily CBT. I received my MSW from Wurzweiler School of Socual Work and went on to attend the Inatirute for Payhxoanalytic Paychotherapy . I began my career at SUNY, in a wonderful place called The Loft. Eight psychotherapists , a loft, an individuals in all stages of addictions from anything ; alcohol, substances, eating disorders, debtors, gambling etc. As I opened my own practice in 1995, it became much more eclectic and all issues are covered in my practice from addictions to mood disorders and everything in between. When the pandemic hit, and I was doing zoom, anxiety, depression, and addictions surged. In the aftermath , I am seeing a lot more agoraphobia, social anxiety, continued addictions. I work closely with twelve step programs. I believe in problem focused therapy and parenting work following the pandemic and wish more seminars were available for providers
