Brittany Martorella, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based support. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and her master’s in social work from Stony Brook University.
Brittany works with adults dealing with stress, anxiety, self-esteem, attachment, life transitions, grief, depression, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues, and other difficulties. She emphasizes the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for growth and healing. Brittany focuses on creating a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment where clients can explore their experiences, increase self-awareness, understand connections between thought patterns, and develop effective coping strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Each session is tailored by Brittany to meet the unique needs of her clients. She believes in empowering individuals to build resilience and create meaningful changes in their lives while making sure they feel seen and understood.
Using an integrative and empathetic approach rooted in self-compassion, emotional balance and regulation, Brittany draws on CBT, ACT, Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Strengths-Based, Solution Focused, and Trauma-Informed therapies. She also incorporates holistic work such as healing the somatic nervous system, and other mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches that help clients gain greater clarity for meaningful change.
