I am a licensed clinical psychologist who focuses on treating anxiety, relationship challenges, depression, and life transitions. I offer virtual psychotherapy in New York, New Jersey, and all PSYPACT states for adult clients in individual and couples therapy formats.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a type of treatment that concentrates on understanding the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and actions. By understanding the ways in which we interpret the world around us, we can make more deliberate, values-based choices and change our self-talk. This process can lead to greater satisfaction with our lives and our relationships.

I utilize an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework when working with couples. EFT is an evidence-based treatment that helps couples examine their patterns of interaction, identify the depth of their emotional responses, and communicate more openly and vulnerably with the goal of developing a more secure relational bond. Through experiencing these conversations differently together, couples gain a felt sense of change that has long-lasting ramifications for the foundation of their relationship.

I appreciate that our unique identity dimensions (e.g. race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religious beliefs, spirituality, socioeconomic status, ability, age) impact mental health. Through a culturally-sensitive lens, I invite you to bring these identities into our work based on how relevant they feel to you.

Therapy offers a supportive framework to try something different in coping with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, or stress. If you're looking to address these issues in your life, I would love to help.
