Alison Kalfus is the former Co-Director of the Family and Couples Treatment Service, a division of the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in Manhattan, a training and treatment center, addressing relational difficulties in couples and families (2014-2025). She is also in private practice treating adults, in individual treatment and in couples. Subspecialties include developmental trauma, postpartum issues, parenting, and addictive disorders. She is a NY State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who received her Master’s degree at Hunter College, and her postgraduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Family and Couples counseling, and Integrative Trauma treatment. Ms. Kalfus is a member of NASW.
