I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice with 30 years of experience in both clinical and administrative services in child welfare and mental health.I specialize in providing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to older teens, emerging, middle aged and senior adults. I provide psycho-therapy to help those in pain unhook from unhelpful thoughts, feelings and urges in order to achieve their goals. There is nothing more important to me then providing individualized, evidence based therapy from a warm, compassionate, empathic stance.

CONTINUING EDUCATION includes countless seminars in Mindfulness, Meditation, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotion Regulation Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention and my favorite, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy all of which are trans-diagnostic.

I work with older adolescents and adults of all ages who present with issues related to anxiety, OCD, sking picking, hair pulling, depression, grief, acute stress disorders, marital/relationship conflict, pre and post partum anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, adoption, infertility, parenting and the onset of physical disablities including but not limited to blindness. My clients are richly diverse in terms of gender, sex and sexual preferences, race, religion, nationality.
