My approach to therapy is psychodynamic (focused on unconscious processes as they manifest in current behavior), somatic (body-centered), and strongly influenced by Jungian analysis. I am also trained in DBT and mindfulness-based interventions. I'm adept at weaving together this variety of modalities to meet the unique needs of each person with whom I work.

As a therapist, yoga and meditation teacher, and hospice volunteer, I’ve worked with people across the lifespan, dealing with a wide range of issues. I have a particular interest in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and issues related to body image, identity, relationships; undergoing grief/loss, life transitions, or chronic/terminal illness; or experiencing spiritual or existential crises.

I have an MSEd in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College, as well as a BA from New York University. I completed post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as more than 1,000 hours of training and 13 years of professional experience as a certified yoga and meditation teacher.
