Caroline Geelan

I am a double board certified psychiatrist who specializes in the medication management of mental health conditions in adults, adolescents and children, namely mood related disorders, anxiety disorders and symptoms stemming from trauma, family conflicts and relationship stressors. Additionally, I also treat childhood ADHD and behavioral problems in children and adolescents, and will work alongside a patient's therapist, family members and school contacts to ensure a patient's symptoms are being targeted and treated appropriately.

During medication management appointments, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients gain insight into their symptoms. In addition, I provide psychoeducation on how medication and changes in behavior and thought processes can help alleviate symptoms. These techniques are derived from supportive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I enjoy getting to know my patients and encourage open and honest communication. I am committed to treating a patient as a whole person and to developing a beneficial medication regimen and treatment plan. Lastly, I look forward to working with people who are motivated and who wish to change their lives for the better.

Currrently all appointments are via telemedicine.
