I am a Licensed Master Social Worker providing individual therapy in person/virtually in Brooklyn, NY and virtually in Massachusetts. Throughout my career, I've supported children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, eating disorders, and perinatal mental health. I utilize a relational integrative approach, drawing upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, following my Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology from New York University. My early experiences in family services and educational settings fostered a strong passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. Transitioning into healthcare, I gained valuable experience at NYU Langone Hospital’s inpatient pediatric unit and outpatient adolescent medicine center and later at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Social Worker, providing trauma-informed care to individuals, couples, and families.
I strive to create a warm and supportive environment for individuals of all ages, ensuring each client feels genuinely seen and heard. I deeply value each client's unique experiences and offer a personalized, collaborative approach that respects their life stories, relationships, and family systems. I am bilingual, fluent natively in both English and Portuguese.
